On Sunday evening RAYMOND WEIL had the honour of co-hosting, along with MasterCard, the Official After Party for Emeli Sandé following her sell out concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

To begin the evening RAYMOND WEIL took over 4 boxes at the spine-tingling concert, from which Emeli donated all the proceeds to the Princes Trust, and invited friends of RW Leona Lewis, Aston from JLS and Wretch 32 to enjoy the performance.

All I can say is WOW, I am a huge fan of  Emeli Sandé anyway but her performance on Sunday blew me away, backed by an orchestra there were so many goosebump moments throughout the evening.  The atmosphere in the domed Royal Albert Hall was electric and I was completely mesmerised by her as she effortlessly worked her way through 'Version of Events' as well as her collaborations with Professor Green and Labrinth, who joined her on stage as her special guests.

Throughout the concert Emeli wore the ladies RAYMOND WEIL Maestro, which she chose to join her growing RAYMOND WEIL collection alongside her Jasmine watch, which sparkled from her wrist after a quick dress change.

Following the concert invited guests, mainly Emeli's friends and family as well as Aston and Wretch 32, made their way round the corner to the Gore Hotel where they were greeted by Grey Goose cocktails and a set by KISS FM's Dixon Brothers.   The party lasted into the early hours of Monday morning and as you can see from the video below was enjoyed by everyone who attended!!!

Jay Kay wearing his RAYMOND WEIL
As I mentioned previously I was incredibly lucky to be invited to the Grey Goose Winter Ball to benefit the Elton John Aids Foundation.   The ball, which was held at Battersea Power Station, was an amazing affair - with a theme of 1950s Côte d'Azur, an Alister guest list, entertainment by Emeli Sande and Labrinth, and food by the Michelin starred Hélène Darroze - it was a night to remember!

When I arrived at the venue, I was presented with a glass of Grey Goose Le Fizz and after doing a quick sweep of the party I made my way to an outdoor area where I bumped into the one and only Jay Kay from Jamiroquai.   I introduced myself and he excited launched into a speech about he loved our watches and recounted the watch he designed himself in honour of Nordoff Robbins!   It was brilliant to see him so passionate about the brand, we chatted for a bit and then we were called for dinner.

After dinner the auction started, I was particularly interested in this as RAYMOND WEIL had teamed up with Labrinth and donated a prize of the limited edition RAYMOND WEIL BRIT Awards watch which Labrinth had worn at the Pre-BRITs party as well as lunch at Lab's gorgeous North London restaurant AND the opportunity to have a bespoke track created for you by the music genius himself!!! - Simply WOW!!!

After a couple of lots with stunning prizes it was our turn, Labrinth joined the stage to showcase the watch and the offer of a bespoke track and lunch then the bidding began.... Suddenly from out of nowhere Jay Kay jumped up on the stage  and demanded that everyone dig deep for the prize and offered up £60,000 of his own money towards the final amount.  As amazing as his generosity was the offers started flying in and reached an unbelievable £120,000 which along with Jay Kay's offer the total offering came to a staggering £180,000.  An incredible end to an incredible night which raised £1,095,582 for the work of the Elton John Aids Foundation.

Check out the photo's from the Ball on the Grey Goose Facebook page, there is a great one of Labrinth and Jay Kay during the auction!

It's taken me until today  to work out whether the weekend was just a dream or whether it really happened!!!

It's starts with Saturday night when I was incredibly lucky to be invited to the Grey Goose Winter Ball in aid of the Elton John Aids Foundation.   RAYMOND WEIL teamed up with Labrinth and added to the auction the prize of the limited edition BRIT Awards watch which Labrinth wore at the Pre-BRITS party as well as lunch with Labrinth himself.... Here is the story of how the events of the night resulted in the highest bidder winning the prize for a whopping £180,000!!!!!

Moving on to Sunday, once the cocktail hangover had subdued, we had the absolute pleasure of spending the evening in the company of Emeli Sande.  First at her sell-out concert at the Royal Albert Hall and then at  her official after show party which we organised in conjunction with MasterCard.  Find out more about the amazing night  here....
